Após Globo de Ouro e Critics’ Choice Awards, neste domingo (19) acontece o SAG Awards. O evento é promovido pelo Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists e premia as melhores atuações na televisão e no cinema.
Os destaques do ano são “O Irlandês”, de Martin Scorsese, “Era Uma Vez Em… Hollywood”, de Quentin Tarantino, e “O Escândalo”, de Jay Roach, nas categorias de filmes, e “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, em televisão. Cada uma das obras recebeu quatro indicações.
“História de Um Casamento” recebeu três indicações: Adam Driver em Melhor Ator, Scarlett Johansson em Melhor Atriz e Laura Dern em Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante. A Netflix, inclusive, foi a líder de indicações: sete em filmes e 13 em televisão. A HBO teve dez indicações e a Prime Video, sete. A Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Entertainment e Hulu ganharam quatro indicações cada um.
O SAG Awards 2020 não terá anfitrião. A premiação começa às 22h, horário de Brasília, mas não será exibida no Brasil. O tapete vermelho também não será transmitido. O ator Robert De Niro será homenageado com o prêmio “Life Achievement”, entregue por Leonardo Di Caprio.
